Our courses contain many interesting and useful features, as shown below. Depending on the course type, certain features may or may not be included. For example, some technical courses let you practice in a simulated coding environment, whereas business courses may use realistic scenarios to demonstrate important concepts.  Check out our design philosophy.

Since all courses may not contain all features, we suggest that you take one of the sample free courses before purchasing.

Course Competion Certificate Upon completion of all lessons at a mastery level (typically 70%), you can print a personalized Course Completion Certificate from the course Scores page.
Skill Assessment Save time by taking a pre-test before you take the course.The results of the test will let you know what parts of the course you need to take. A post-test is also available. You'll know how well you've mastered the material once you've completed this test.
Exercises Gain valuable hands-on experience. You'll work in the actual software application with these exercises.   
Questions True/false, matching, and fill-in-the-blank questions are liberally included throughout the courses, engaging you in the learning process.   
Simulations Yet another way to gain the hands-on experience you're looking for is through the use of our unique task-based simulations. It may seem like you're in the application, but you'll be safe within the bounds of the course.
Sample Files Our coding courses contain sample files that you can actually cut and paste into a compiler. You'll be able to practice with these files and save time by using them in a program of your own.
Activities Actively engage in courses with our Flash-based, information-driven activities.
Bookmarking Our intelligent client technology recognizes where you are throughout a course and tracks your progress in a course. The next time you access the course, you will return to the same location within the course. You don't need to remember where you stopped or how to return to where you stopped.
Search Allows you to research a topic of interest in any or all of the courses you can access. Enables you to rapidly search all text, including text within coding examples, to easily retrieve the information you require.
Accessibility Allows vision-impaired students to use a text reader program to read the text-only version of a course. Enables students to access the various course features by using command keys to navigate, search the glossary, answer course questions, and more.
Course in Review Provides a course summary with resources for measuring learning at the course level. Study strategies and/or exam objectives exist for certification topic courses.
Flash and Audio With the introduction of Flash into our courses, you'll enjoy complex animations, enhanced simulations, and audio elements.
Role-Based and Scenario-Specific Training Courses offer both role-based and scenario-specific training, creating a highly focused learning environment.  
Video Courses use scenario-based streaming video, supplemented with audio, graphics, and scrolling text, to help learners absorb the material in multiple ways.
Links to Reference Material Courses include links to reference material, allowing learners to access additional information on related topics of interest.
